Parchment or paper?
I have been asked many times if the tools that you use in spell casting really make a difference. And the honest answer to that is that it will depend on the person.'
I use only very high end tools, parchments, hand made Athmes, hand picked crystals. There are those that will tell you that a piece of printer paper will suffice in the place of parchment. And there is very little way to prove which way is "correct". So we will offer you the tools and techniques to build, purchase, find and gather these tools.
My personal experience is that when you go the "extra mile" to obtain a certain tool, the outcome can be much better.
A personal experience:
There was a time in my witches' past that a good couple of friends of mine had lost their luster for love with one another. They came to me asking if i could help them rekindle their romance. They had gathered the tools and simply need someone to guide the ritual. I accepted the challenge.
The main tools that were used were red candles and the essential essences of rose.
The candles that they offered me were storebought at a dollar store, and the "essential essence" when opened, smelled very weak and was very fluid.
We performed the ritual and even with positive thinking, meditation and enhancements, their love for one another did not come back into tune.
We discussed the issue and i agreed to do the ritual again, this time with my hand crafted tools.
I created 5 hand dipped candles and anointed them with rose OIL.
I gathered roses and distilled the essential oils
We did the ritual again. This time, within days, they were like newly weds. Very much in love once again. And my home smelled like roses for about 4 weeks. :)
This is just an example. There is no way to really know what changed the course of these two young lovers, but i choose to believe that it was the proper tools.
